Q&A with Dr. Harrison
Dr. Harrison Answers Your Eyecare Questions
Q: Summer is over, so I assume I won’t need my sunglasses again until the next swimsuit season, right?
Not so fast. As the days shorten, the sun spends more time lower in the sky and often directly in your eyes! Even worse, when the ground is covered with snow, the reflected light may be painfully bright and give rise to increased reflections. Polarized lenses are especially effective at blocking reflections from snow and ice. So don’t forget to use your sun protection even when the thermometer dips into the frozen fingers and toes range!
